About White Desert
Take a ride on the mountain cable car and enjoy the enchanting views among the peaks. Al-Bayda Wild Park is located northwest of Medina and is considered a geological treasure and a rare natural wonder in the heart of the Khaybar Volcanic Field. The park is characterized by its striking terrain, which harmoniously blends dazzling white sand and white limestone with the surrounding black volcanic lava fields (basalt). The park offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city and is an ideal destination for lovers of unspoiled nature, wilderness camping, adventure, and exploring rare geological formations—especially “Wadi al-Jinn,” famous for its optical illusions.
